During our PANCAN Advocacy Days, Bruce and I and our fellow advocates got to meet with Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey. He took time to talk with each one of us individually about our connection to pancreatic cancer. He will continue to support funding for pancreatic cancer research. At the end of our meeting, Sen. Booker left and then returned with the Edge of the rock group U2, a surprise for all of us! He, too, took the time to talk to each of us and to listen to our stories. Our meeting was emotional but definitely fruitful!
